Jan: Great to hear you had the experience you had- better to get a good wedding planner than a rookie- they cost a bit, but the day of the wedding will prove it all worth it.
I agree completely with your analogy- just for the experience I have tried to do titles in some of the other counties that are mentioned on here as "being on-line" just to test out how they work compared to what I work with everyday and felt like there was a whole lot I was uncomfortable with. I remarked earlier to one of the Texas abstractors that I would never venture into doing anything there cause I do not feel I have the expertise to "complete" a title in those counties-it takes a local experienced searcher to do the job correctly- but we all know that already- all we have to do is convince those that want what we do to want it from the ones that "Know" what they do in the states and counties they do it in-not the ones that live in in a remote site and profess to be "experienced " in the counties they have never set foot in. I will be relying on you do help me do the cases I get for NC in the future- .
Best of luck on the wedding and enjoy the process that an experienced person that the wedding planner will bring to your son's and future daughter-in-law's biggest event of their lives(at least so far).
