I did 6 titles, completed and fax to the title company.
They stopped payment on my $400+ check because they said that I had a deed for recording that had been rejected and never returned to them.
I got out my trusty fed ex tracking slip to confirm that I sent it.
I have contacted them 4 times trying to find out when they would issue me a new check and the secretary tells me that "no one is available". BULLCRAP!!

Any advice. I have done business with them for years and can't believe they have a thorn up their behind. I also thought that they could not stop payment on a check for services renedered. They had no problem with my title work, they had another "issue" with me. Seems unfair.
