Just a question regarding rush orders. I got an order for a full search ( 30 years in Florida) around 4 :00 p.m. yesterday . Usually we turn these around on a 48 hour min 72 hour max ( depending on the search). The client sent me an email the next morning 8:00 am ,saying that "the client was demanding a rush on this". At 9:00 am I got another email saying that " if this search wasn't turned in by noon that it would be reassigned and we would not be paid for the work done thus far " This is a great client of mine that we have never had any problems with. Our work is always turned in on time and we are always paid on time. We do a high volume of work for them. This just doesn't feel right to me. I would just like to hear some other abstractors opinions of the threatening email. Thanks !
