"Experienced Novice" has a question - David Adler/NY
10/12/2006 1:04:08 PM (1749 views)

Hi there everyone.  I've been an independent searcher in the NYC area for a little over two years now-that's the "experienced" part in my header.  Up to this point, however, I have done only commercial searches (cell towers mostly), primarily for one client-that's the "novice" part.  I am now looking to add additional clients and expand my business to include residential searches.  Since I have only worked for one client whose searches are very time-consuming and complicated, and who therefore pays more per search, I am a bit in the dark as to the current going rates for residential searches.  Could anyone provide me with the going rates in New York-or elsewhere- for the following:

Full 40-year Search
Current Owner Search
Ownership Verification
Judgment/Lien Search
UCC Search
Document Recording

I greatly appreciate any assistance you can provide and thank you in advance for your help.
