Here in North Carolina we have a Register of Deeds election going on that's causing a grass roots ruckus. The current registrar vows not to take down her website which publishes ssn etc, and Sally Antosek, who is running against her, vows to take it down if she is elected.
I'm guessing you all know which side I'm on :)
Remembering the deed scams from a while back, I want to ask if you would send any examples of ID theft, online-related crimes, and deed-related crimes to Antosek, the Scott Heineman scam included, since he no doubt used online records to achieve the sheer level and scope of fraud.
All examples we can offer would help her campaign tremendously. Three counties are offline in NC, this would be the 4th, and I believe it would put other counties on notice.
