[-] Abstractors beware - Examnet - JOSEPH MARTINEZ/NM (16 replies)

I have never in 7 years been approached by an attorney, from an affiliate company, that packs a serious attitude about filing a claim and/or lawsuit regarding a search that took place over 5 months ago, by a company called Examnet.

Examnet is a company out of California that will sue any and all abstractors throughout the country for missing a document on a search, with NO policy even being issued!

I have seized all work and have demanded full payment because of the harassment.

My searcher did NOT and has NOT missed a mortgage in 5 years, when she was hired, it is just that some of the documents never went through the fax so we didn't report any encumbrances.

Now, Dan Zereski, attorney, and Pete Bodoni, owner want to sue me and have me make a $17,000 claim for a search that never went to policy and I think that is low down and uncalled for!

A warning to all abstractors, DO NOT FALL FOR THIS COMAPNIES TACTICS for they will sue you and could care less of the work they are giving you!

Depressed/discouraged abstractor!

J. Richard Martinez
