[-] Follow-up on Absolute Property, Question - Mike/KS (11 replies)
10/20/2006 1:37:42 PM (2302 views)

Hi,

Saw the lengthy thread on Absolute Property Services.

My experience is they are slow payers but have come through, until now. Like others have found out, not returning emails or phone calls, no ability to leave messages today, no one answers the phone. I'm blessed, as I'm due less than $ 600 but what's their deal? Been working for them for some time and now they have gone underground?

Any news on them from anyone?

Which brings me to this...does anyone, before working with a company for the first time, institute a policy that all invoices 45 or 60 days PAST due from when the client SAYS they will pay, add some sort of penalty? Would that even work in this industry?

To me, I will wait to be paid monthly or 45 days if you actually pay when you say you are go to pay. But if I have to wait that long, which is difficult, and then you don't pay on time and are another month or so late and in some rare cases, condescending about it, while still demanding work be turned quickly, then how is that a healthy professional relationship. Someone is not holding up their end of the deal and yet they are the ones with the attitude.

Interesting.
