I think you would have to admit that there have been some abuses that have crept into the real estate industry that ultimately have not been in the best interests of the buyer or the homeowner. Essentially that is REBA's target in these actions. The attorney's fees for a closing are only a small portion of the closing costs. The bulk of the closing costs go to the lender, mortgage broker and title company.
I do see the outsourcing of abstracting work to third world countries becoming a catalyst in extending REBA's concerns to the area of abstracting. Perhaps someone should bring it to their attention.
