No, Chris... you read correctly...I said partnership. It had nothing to do with the corporate shield, but rather a statutory tenancy by partnership which separates partnership property from the individual partners' property.
It is possible in Connecticut to seek recovery of damages from individual partners' property arising from a claim against the partnership... provided the partners are named as defendants in addition to the partnership.
It is not possible to seek recovery of damages from partnership property for a claim against an individual partner arising from a matter separate from partnership business.
