[-] What about a Court Clerk doing searches? - SHARON YAHRAES/ID (6 replies)
1/6/2007 3:00:34 PM (1890 views)

I just recently heard from a good source that a competing company has a relative that is a county court clerk. She is doing searches for a rediculously low price while at work. This hasn't affected our company, but has drastically affected a smaller company that we are friends with.

Apparently they are doing these searches on breaks and lunch breaks. How could this possibly be monitored? Is there a standard in the jurisdictions that prohibit this sort of thing? It seems that it would certainly be an unfair business practice or something.  I know if I was the supervisor I would put a stop to this, and if I wasn't informed of this practice she would be fired. If I (as a supervisor) was informed, and I allowed this, I could be terminated or seriously reprimanded. Any feedback would be appreciated. We are considering reporting this to the proper authority.

Thanks,
Sharon
