I feel this forum and the "free" news is an EXCELLENT SOURCE for title abstractors, attorneys, and others who work within the real estate title search and title policy fields. In my opinion, you should ignore this particular criticism unless it comes from within your membership.
Notary Rotary is a forum for non-attorney signing agents and notaries, whose work is far different than what abstractors and title examiners do. Also, the hundreds of sites set up for notaries or signing agents to "advertise" on are inexpensive compared to this site. That is because they do not offer the same news products and technical information. So, a notary public (earning 25 cents to $10 per notarization) used to paying $19.99-$39.99 as the "norm" would find your site expense. Much as I LOVE your site, it is not the most cost-effective marketing venue for a mobile notary public or non-attorney signing agent in many states. It is additional marketing venues that many new-to-the-industry signing agents are looking for as their business volume declines; i.e., will $199 give a notary access to title insurance companies and lenders, not listed on the other marketing sites, that will hire them direct at increased fees? Also, the notary rotary board is so active that posts about this site will soon disappear as other complaints move it down the pile.
If I were still an independent title abstractor you would have my marketing dollars in a heartbeat :)
