Zen Title out of Minnesota tried that with me a while back. Thanks to the New Client Account Application that we require every new company to sign before we do their work, we were able to determine that one of the principals had previously operated under the name Title Direct, which had gotten behind in payments with us on more than a few occasions. We said thanks but no thanks.
So the moral of the story, boys and girls, is simple: if you want to be treated as professionals...start ACTING like professionals!
