This seems to happen every time some legislator decides to create special classes of
people or
papers that need protection instead of protecting all citizens by isolating access to the documents to people visiting the jurisdiction.
Hopefully, some day legislators will realize that people deserve to be protected and that no one outside the jurisdiction deserves or needs special remote access from outside the jurisdiction.
The Constitution promises all of us that we shall be secure in our persons, papers and possessions from unreasonable search and seizure. Today, there is no security in a system that allows our papers to be searched and seized by anonymous computer users from anywhere in the world.
