It never ceases to amaze me how low some abstractors will go. We just received a call from a company that has an enhanced listing in our directory. They noticed that the phone number in their listing was actually a competitors phone number! They paid for the enhanced listing, but a competitor got the calls.
Apparently a former employee, who opened her own company, had the password for the company's account and they made the subtle change. I think a crash course in ethics is in order for the abstractors. There is only so much you can justify with "its only business!"
So... check your listing often to make sure your information is current and change your passwords periodically. Especially if a former employee had access to your account. You can edit your user profile to change your password, as well as edit your directory listings, by clicking on the "My Account" link at the top of the page.
