I was just wondering in the war stories department what was is the strangest thing you have seen in a description??? When I lived in Northeastern NC, I was working in an older county courthouse..Lords Proprietor period...king's grant etc..anyway..I came across a deed where one of  the calls was.."the distance it takes a man to smoke a cigarette, thence..." Seriously, and I guess only in NC. I wondered if it was a king or short? Funny thing about this call (other than the obvious) it has been in the description of this property for the last 60 years. Wow! Somebody needs a survey! Hope everyone has a nice holiday!
