Don't be "amazed". Remember many of the lenders "don't want to
offend the possible customer", so they don't ask ?????, thus they
leave it to the VM companies and us to do the grunt work. Also,
some of these apps are taken over the phone, and many of the
applicants probably couldn't tell the bank which county they live in
or pay taxes in. If we all could get a fee structure that included one
$$$ for searches with a tax id # and a higher fee for those w/o the
tax id that would be great.
