MD Code, Real Property, §3-301 requires that “The clerk shall endorse on the deed or other instrument the time he receives the document for recording and the endorsement shall show in the Land Records.”
Basically by recording documents that are walked through ahead of documents dropped or mailed they are ignoring the fact the law says "receives the document".
We are trying to get the MLTA and the Maryland Insurance Administration to take action as well.
