Robert, Glad it ended well. My only concern is that 6 months doesn't
appear to just be "misplacing the bill". A real problem here is that having
to chase down only $ 86 takes just a much time as chasing down a
$500 bill, it always takes effort that could have be put into growing
Susan's business. As to not having any personal contact with APL,
you can bet your sweet *ss that I don't want any contact if she insists
that getting paid from her client before paying the abstractor is a
normal practice at her firm. That's a sure possible sign of an
under-capitalized business just maybe headed for trouble down the
road. (I think others have posted the same message before on this site.)
