Many of you reading this may already know me but if you don’t please let me introduce myself before you read on.<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />
My name is Josh and I work for a commercial collection firm called Wexford & James. We are based in <?xml:namespace prefix = st1 ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:smarttags" />West Des Moines, Iowa and specialize in commercial (business to business) collections throughout the United States. Our responsibilities and services include collecting past due debt & litigation management. Currently, we assist many other abstract companies with their collection requirements (please search Wexford & James on SOT)
We strive to collect the money you have earned but not been paid.
I just finished reading an article in the June NALTEA Newsletter written by Robert Franco entitled The Latest Defalcation. He talks of a yet another title company mismanaging their funds and shutting down. He also goes on to talk about how important it is to stay on top of your collection efforts, “even from large companies who you think are good for it.”
One thing that Robert talked of and we as well have been talking about the same thing in our office is, what would the underwriter think if they knew how the title companies were treating their abstractors? As Robert writes, abstractors may want to ask that question, “By notifying a client’s underwriter of the delinquency you may be assisting the underwriter in heading off much worse problems.”
If you would like to read the article in its entirety you can go to:

If you currently are in a situation with a company where they owe you money and though your collection efforts have made little to no traction, we should talk. Once again Wexford & James specializes in commercial collections and has helped many of your professional colleges. I think what sets us apart from others is that we are involved in and know your industry. And if for some reason we hit road blocks we have the ability to go legal…Seamlessly. Currently we manage millions of dollars in litigation for our clients.
Once again, I would urge you, if you have not read Robert Franco’s article, to visit the NALTEA website and give it a read. Good Luck with Business!
Friendly, Professional, Solution-Oriented,
