During my daily perusal of the Mortgage Impolode-o-Meter, I cam across this "video seminar" for potential borrowers in this market. I am attaching a link to the video that I feel is appropriate for the title of this post:

This mortgage broker (or maybe an actor who plays a mortgage broker on TV) refers to the person at the closing, not as a closer, but as a Notary. He also states that the seller in a purchase transaction chooses the title agent or the mortgage broker uses "someone they know" in the title business in case there is a "favor needed". His disclaimer that "of course you can choose your own title" person is made, but at a much lower volume (or maybe it is my old ears). The old saying goes - the more you hear something, the more you believe it. I think this is the case for this "educational video seminar". OMG!!! Up is down and down is up. The world has gone mad!
