I was contacted by National Titlenet out of Plano, Texas to complete a title search. I Sent the completed search along with my invoice. The search was completed on Oct 1, 2007. This morning I got a call from this company asking what my fee's and turntime were for a search. I told them, they emailed the search to me. Then as I looked at their order, I realized it was the same company that had not paid me for their prior search. I emailed the person back and informed her that since they had not paid me yet for the first order, and they were a new customer, I would need to be paid for the old search and pre-paid for the new search. Below is her reply:
That loan has not closed yet. I will place the Harms order with another company.

When she contacted me about completing the search, she never mentioned to me that payment for my services would not occur until the loan closed. I put "Net 15" on my invoice. Another company that does not intend to pay for services rendered.
