I understand what you are saying Robert, however there have been plenty of postings on SOT where someone found out after the fact, that a company they have now done a load of work for, doesn't pay unless the loan closes.
I can see both viewpoints.
Its actually a sad state of affairs that you need to ask a company that question, because you are right, your invoices should just be paid.
I choose to ask before I take work on.
