I myself have often thought of charging a late fee to my clients (here in NJ we can charge up to 18%) but the one thing stopping me from doing that is that if the clients are not paying or slow paying or whatever, what purpose does the late fee serve? If they aren't paying the *actual* bill for the services rendered then why would they suddenly pay extra? I'm not trying to be a wise a** or anything but I've often debated a late fee but I keep coming back to that thought, if anyone can change my thought process I would be eternally grateful LOL
