Glad you enjoyed it. It even made me pull out an old recipe for chicken fricasse' (free - ka - say).
Very simple and very delicious. Great winter food as it's way too hot making a roux during our hot, hot summers. Have you ever had it? Let me know if anyone wants the recipe.
Anyone who has never been to New Orleans should consider coming down in January for the Naltea Conference in January. It's the coolest time of the year for us, as we consider anything under 60 degrees unusual any time of year.
