My Pleasure Phil,
Fun on the Bayou sounds great. Thought you might also like the fixings for a New England sea food pizza.
1. Let the dough sit for an hour at room temperature.Pound out the Pizza dough until it fits the pan in which it is to be baked. You should be able to get the dough at the super market.
2. Fry some chopped egg plant, onions, fresh garlic, basil ( fresh if you can get it) and oregano in olive oil.
3. After you have pounded out the pizza dough...spread the egg plant and onions, garlic, basil and oregano on top.
4. Drain the water from a can of baby clams (preferably Geisha brand), and spread the clams on top of the Pizza also.
5. Remove the tails from cooked shrimp ( the amount of shrimp is up to you) and add that to the top of the pizza.
6. This is a white pizza so we will not be using red sauce...instead add olive oil judiciously to the pizza. Not too much or the crust will get soggy. You just want to moisten it, not drown it.
7. Finish by adding liberal amounts of mozzarella cheese.
Bake in the oven at 450 degrees until the crust starts to brown
If you like a hint of meat...you can also fry some bacon, and add that to the mix.
