Amen Scott!

We all need to remember those who have taken on the responsibility of protecting the freedoms that we enjoy in our lives. Many people forget or were not taught that our freedoms are never free. That there was a price to pay and at times, paid with the lives of our courageous soldiers.

Many soldiers will tell you that they do not see themselves as heroes or of being courageous. That it is simply their job. Although that may be true is some sense. They are placing themselves in harms way day in and day out. They perform services to our country as well as to the civilians surrounding them. Where others are fleeing, our troops march in. Whether they are deployed, active, or retired. They have all been in a position to possibly be called upon to give the ultimate sacrifice for their country and are more than willing to do so.

Today, remember those that have given their all and for the countless others that have been affected by wars.  Remember always, that the freedoms that we enjoy, are never free and that they should be treated as such.
