I hear you... here in Middle Wisconsin, we've got $3.19 a gallon now. The car I had been driving was getting about 15mpg (it's old, beat, and borrowed). My best option was to swap it for the family minivan scoring a whopping 22mpg. There's no out-of-office searching or other runs unless absolutely neccessary here.

I can only hope that come tax season, I can pick up something small and fuel efficient relatively cheap.
