I was informed that it is not "suggested" to go into an LLC unless you have more than one partner/person who will be a part of the company name. IF you go this route, you have to file the LLC on the state level and get you EIN#/etc. If you will be in the business by yourself, there is clasification that this would fall under. I believe it is the Sole Proprietorship, not quite sure right now. (brain fart!) Apparently, the tax brackets & liability come into play as you climb up the corporation ladder. Either way, you definitely need Errors & Omissions insurance now-a-days to get any clients to work with you. May I suggest TIAC?
