I myself thoroughly enjoy the old family tradition of pickled pigs feet on Thanksgiving Day. When I was younger, we all celebrated at the grandparents farm, and they were one of the kids favorite treats. But the proper way to eat them is slathered in homemade horseradish sauce & a side of sautéed carmalized onions.
As for seafood, nothing beats freshly caught rainbow trout fresh from the mountain stream that ran near the back of the farm.
