Thank you for your words ladies, but the problem is I had not thought of it, like many things I have said or done in the past. I called Curt tonight asking him about his order tracking software which is second to none. During our conversation he asked me about the statement and I had long forgot it.
I could hear that he was hurt by my comment and I felt very ashmed for saying it. He is a good guy and I took a shot at someone who could not and did not defend himself. I spoke with my heart about his business decisions on his OCR software and should have used my head. He knows how compassionate I am about the outsourcing and how his program may or may not be used to help facilitate the automation of our industry, but that does not excuse my behavior and my personal attack on him. If anyone is to be admired I believe he is, for his class he has shown in the face of ignorance.
His order tracking software is second to none and my new company needs it and him to help make us successful. It just goes to show how small our world actually is. I hope that others can learn from my poor judgment and think very carefully how they voice their discontent, whether founded or unfounded.
I have definately put my foot in my mouth and in any other situation I'm suprised he did not tell me to go pound sand. He didn't, and I think that showed a huge amount of character.
Again, I hope everyone is well. I'm starting a new Commercial Brokerage with some partners in December and we are going to take a well plan run at the only market not AS tainted as everything else. Rest assured, we will always use NALTEA listed firms if we have a chance to make that decision.
