I have learned, now more than ever, to expect payment within 30 days or even sooner and to never extend credit past that. I hope that you have changed your policy of extending credit, as well.

I always paid my abstractors first, no matter if I got paid that week or not. Thank goodness that I do not owe anyone for title work.
