I have been wanting to say this for a long time so here it goes, there is so much doom and gloom and negativity on SOT, about clients, other abstractor's, etc. from abstractor's I am surprised you are still in business.
Frankly I am tired about hearing about the "Big Bad Vendor Management Companies" and all the other "Scum Bag Companies" and the abstractors who are under cutting.
Its unbelievable to me how negative these forums have become.
Kevin and Robert have given so much great (and free) advice, it appears no one is bothering to take their advice and DO SOMETHING about their individual situations.
My company is doing great and will continue doing great because I do not agree with all the doom and gloom.
I send out 5-600 postcards promoting my company every week and have gotten lots of great clients from them.
When it slows down I get out all my mailing lists, etc.. and do cold calls and have gotten new clients from the calls.
If one of my clients slows down, I am on the phone with them to find out why the work flow has slowed to see if there is something I can do about it.
I have spoken with other abstractors from SOT and exhanged clients with them.
I continue expanding and adding more counties.
There are LOTS of things you can do when you own a company to continue to grow and expand, but whining, complaining, etc., are not ones that will get you any where.
I think its time for the whiners to grow up.
And how about we start getting some positive postings on SOT???!!!
