to see how many of the Association's sharpest critics will actually take the time to show up at the Conference.

On that subject (criticism), I really think that it's often not WHAT one says, but HOW it's said that ruffles feathers. A lot of matters that have been raised here are actually valid points; we should all remember, however, that there is such a thing as tact and diplomacy. While it is impossible to be all things to all people, let's put our egos aside and at least TRY to get our ideas out there without all the pettiness and bickering. Frankly, I'm sick and tired of it.

But, that's just me.
