But if you provide a copy with the SSN redacted how can the agent make a determination as to whether it applies or not. Our clients don't give us the SSN (usually), but we are able to provide them a copy of the tax lien without the SSN redacted so they can tell when they get it if they need to pay it or not.
Some counties around here just don't put their Fed. Tax Liens online because of the SSN they contain. That, of course, would make any searches we would do online incomplete (which is why we don't do them online).
