Hi All,
I am keeping track of the emails I receive from people confirming their attendance and there are 30 so far! Jay Duncan is checking with the hotel occasionally to get a list of people who have reserved rooms and we will try to keep the list up to date.
There will be a local attorney joining us that has volunteered to provide some initial advice. That will be a valuable contribution.
There will be hospitality suite on Friday night, so we won't have to meet in the bar. It will be a nice, comfortable place to chat and get to know each other prior to the main event.
It looks as though we will be trying to fill the following tentative positions at the conference:
--President
--Vice President
--Secretary
--Treasurer
--Board of Directors
--Public Relations Committee Chairperson
--Program/Event Committee Chairperson
--Membership/Certification Committee Chairperson
--Publication/Member Benefits Committee Chairperson
--Education/Training Committee Chairperson
--Ethics Committee Chairperson
Your attendance will be a big help in getting the association off to a good start. If you haven't yet made your reservations, and confirmed with us, please do so soon, the rooms are filling fast.
If you are unable to attend, but want to be actively involved in the association, you are encouraged to contact one of committee chairs and volunteer to serve on a committee. After the conference we will announce the people who hold those positions.
