The Connecticut Housing Finance Authority will be the administrator for this program. I don't think it will come with a much of a cost to the taxpayers, being the agency is already in place. CHFA has had some really good programs in the past and I believe they will do a good job with this one. The program should work for the people who really can make their payments at a fixed rate and hopefully stabilize the foreclosure dilema a bit here in CT. I was talking to my State Senentor yesterday about this program, he to seemed quite positive about it. My thought was: "It's good legislation, as long as we can keep people employed through these hard economic times." It may be to little to late though.
