I keep getting calls trying to enlist my services as an abstractor. Aside from their fees being far too low...they do not seem to understand the concept of the search being linked to the closing. It always seems to be a request for one single current owner search or a document retrieval that is some ungodly distance from my office with any profit going right into my gas tank.

No matter how many times you seem to tell them "NO"..."I am not interested"..."Please remove me from your data bank", I keep receiving calls. It has gotten to the point of frustration where I am actually becoming insulting on the phone (quite uncharacteristic of my usual pleasant self). However, there just seem to be some people that are insult proof.
