If you do business with a company that does things the right way, look them up in the SOT Business Directory and leave them a positive feedback and a couple sentences of praise for the good work they do.  This will cost you not one flat dime, but will nevertheless be much appreciated!

Users have left 40% fewer positive feedbacks for companies in our business directory in 2008 than they did in 2007.  We know that this has been a tough year in our line of business.  But are there still good companies out there?  I think there are.  Has the value of stuff like good service, competence, and timely payment gone down by 40%?  I don't think so.

In no way do I intend to discourage neutral or negative feedbacks to those companies that do not deliver good service, quality product, or tiemly payment.  By delivering a bit of coal into the stocking of the comapnies that have been naughty and not nice, you give a gift to your fellow professionals by warning them of potential pitfalls. 

You do not need to be a paid SOT subscriber to leave feedback on any company in our directory.  If you know the name of the company or their service area, you should be able to find them.  Once you have located the company, click on the number in parentheses next to the name of the company to view any feedbacks they already have, and then click the link that says "Review this compay" near the top of the page.
