To All NALTEA Members!

NALTEA will be holding a general meeting of members on the evening of Monday, January 19th, 2009 via telephone conference call.  All currently active members should receive a personal invitation to the meeting by Monday or Tuesday of next week.  If you are an active member and you have not received your invitation by that time, please contact me at membership@naltea.org so we can verify that we have your current and correct email address on file.

The invitation will contain the information you will need to participate in the conference call, including a toll-free number and access code.

During the meeting, the members will elect two new members to the board of directors.  If you are currently a voting member and would like to be considered for a board position, please make your intentions known by sending an email message to info@naltea.org .  Please put together a short essay telling the members about your abstracting background, what you would strive to accomplish for NALTEA, and any personal information that you feel to be relevant or would like to be known. 

If you are not currently an active member and would like to make your voice heard, either by voting or running for the board, first join or renew your membership.  Then take the steps outlined above.

We look forward to the enthusiastic participation of all NALTEA members in this meeting, and in the year ahead of us.  There is plenty to be done!
