Soon we will be seeing all these companies that outsource on CNBC's "American Greed" and they will tell of how these companies sacrificed the local title examiner , with local court house knowledge  and expertise in doing local searches the correct way , complete and accurately. In a very misplaced method to extract the most amount of money from each case by "outsourcing to India" the title search, to those that have no experience with the local systems, and little knowledge in title searching- they do have a way with fancy wording and mumbo-jumbo , but that's all. Then when the unlucky homeowner or purchaser gets that letter in the mail letting them know there was an omission in performing their title search and it will involve some lawyers- what a surprise they will get. Unfortunately that will not be the time to ask if the title was done by competent title searchers- it will be the time to understand they got ripped off by the settlement company for outsourcing the title, and all for greed and money grabbing.
All of these companies that outsource, rather than use local abstractors, should be placed on a
non-accepted or non-approved list and informed of the same until they get their title work locally.
