Instant Message Question - Robert Franco/OH
9/29/2009 10:02:19 AM (2809 views)

Occasionally, people will attempt to use the IM feature on our Contact Us page while I am off-line.  When they do that, I get their message when I log in, but they don't usually tell me who they are, so I cannot respond by email.  Last night, someone left me a good question about our enhanced listings and I thought it would be a good opportunity to review this for people who may not be familiar with our services.

The question was:

I noticed that there are some large companies that are not local get their information looked at for free but the smaller companies in my area you need to have a subscription. How do I go about getting my local company looked at by potential customers for free.

The "large companies" that this person refers to have enhanced listings. If you purchase an enhanced listing for your company, it will appear in bold above all of the free listings, and most significantly, it will be accessible by all of our registered users.  If you have a free listing, only our subscribers have access to your listing information.

We currently have 16,319 registered users and only 260 subscribers.  So, you can see that the enhanced listings have a much larger exposure to potential clients.  And, the rates for enhanced listings are based on the number of counties you cover and they start at only $99 per year.

Even with the decline our industry has seen, the directory is searched an average of 8,130 times each month.  Those companies with enhanced listings are viewed an average of 7 times more than the free listings.  Clearly, the odds of getting noticed by a new client when you have an enhanced listing are much greater.

And, of course, we appreciate all of you who financially support Source of Title by purchasing enhanced listings and subscriptions, particularly now when things are a little slow for us all.  We believe it creates a win/win situation.  It helps us continue to provide our services and it only takes one new client to pay for the enhanced listing.

Here are a few of the comments I have received in the past:

“… my job is to locate abstractors for different counties, and I have found two since yesterday, thanks to your Web site!”

“I stumbled onto SOT and registered last Wednesday night. Thursday morning I got a call from an out-of-state company and did some fairly lucrative work for them. Thanks for your help.”

“You must know that you have a great site and offer a tremendous service to the industry. A very good friend referred me to Source of Title.com about three to four weeks ago. I signed up and have received three orders in the last two weeks, a nice supplement to fill in the gaps of my business. I anticipate building those relationships and adding many more orders. Thank you. I will highly recommend your site to others. A first class site, very professional and effective.”

“We are very pleased with the results of being listed with Source of Title. Within the last few weeks we have received three new clients and within the last few days we have received ten new orders. Our business grows daily, and we see Source of Title as a contributing factor.”

So, if you are interested in upgrading to an enhanced listings, please visit our enhanced listing page for more information.

Best,
Robert A. Franco
