I am an AZ independent abstractor, I worked in title insurance for 25 years and when I left Transamerica Title 14 years ago I felt there was enough of a need that I could make a living.  And mostly I have, but in the last few years I have had to do several other services to stay alive.  I only cover Mohave County, the closest other county seat is Parker, La Paz County 100 miles away.  And they are a young county anything old would be in Yuma 200 miles away.  The more populated counties may have more for you to work with.  I do have people asking me if I cover other counties from time to time so if you do set up shop, let me know.  I'll send anything your way I can.
