If you were listed as a creditor by the bankrupt you will be subject to what ever distribution the trustee makes to unsecured (I am assuming that you are unsecured) creditors. If you have not been included in the bankruptcy....your claims not discharged.

The bankruptcy is a completely separate matter than an attorney's ethical obligations. While you may not receive remuniration...ethical matters not requiring discipline may proceed.
