Alot of companies are doing the taxes in house.

In NJ you have to call the township and some times they will give you the taxes and sometimes you have to send in a check for $10 and they mail them back to you or charge an additional fee to fax them. There is no on line way to get them.

I also know in PA you sometimes have to call 3-4 townships for 1 order to get taxes, and many of them won't give them over the phone and they charge for them, so then you have to write 3-4 letters to get the taxes and send a check in each letter. There is no on line way to get them, at least in the counties I use to cover in PA.

Its alot of work. I dropped my prices for clients if they wanted to do them in house it was actually better for me. And their order forms do not request tax information when the change was made.
