I was asked about a situation where a condominium owner owns a unit, together with 3 limited common element garage spaces that were designated on the plat as LCE's. The Owner has since given two separate deeds to two of the LCE garage spaces. I always believed that a LCE was APPURTENANT to the unit and could not be severed as a separately salable unit. Has anyone else run across this? What are your thoughts?
