I also do Ken's work, and no Eric, I am not one of his relatives, and he has always paid me.
According to Ken's post you had an order out with him for close to 2 weeks and he had attempted to contact you to no avail and had to reassign the order.
Honestly I wouldn't have waited a week, I would have cancelled the order after 2 days and stopped payment on the check as well, if you couldn't be bothered to call me back and give me status. Then you send the completed order in to him 2 days AFTER he told you he was reassigning it?
Then you complain that Ken stopped payment on the check?
I do not have a single client who will wait 2 weeks to get a current owner search back, and they shouldn't have to wait 2 weeks. Our jobs as searchers are to get the jobs done and to communitcate to our clients if an order is going to be delayed.
Professionalism works both ways Eric.
