You're right William - if more people would realize that technology is an investment, not a "cost" they could reduce expenses while this industry is going in reverse as far as prices paid for services rendered is concerned. The amount of money spent on some decent, reasonably priced software and gadgets outweighs the initial out of pocket.
It's also frustrating in this "I want my search cheaper and I want it done yesterday" world that there are still abstractors out there with a combo fax/home phone land line, no cell, no email. You can't just complain about the old days if you're not willing to learn a little tech to help your business.
