"The judge said so" is an open invitation for a journalist to investigate further as to how and why. Is there an actual court order in place preventing this, or is it being illegally enforced by some badged security hulks? If there is a court order, can they produce it or a valid reference to it so that someone can get a copy from the case file for review? They ARE public records after all.
Reminder: policy does not rise to the level of LAW and is enforced internally by organizations with regard to their own staff and cannot pre-empt the Rights of We the People. This is a DEFINITION that is integral to policy. Furthermore, policy must be WRITTEN. No oral tradition or custom of history and use exist in the policy arena (this may be a part of the Common Law, but these are not Common Law offices; they are established by and governed by Civil Laws which mean code and statute). Furthermore these writen policies must be kept available in a policy handbook. Furthermore EVERY policy musst have gone through a public notice and public hearing before being properly enacted; a process which will have provided the people a right to be heard before it is enacted. Finally, a policy, regardless of whether in force or not, is not valid if it comes into conflilct with the Civil Rights of the people; it is null and void ab inito (from the beginning). This is fundamental.
Find out how this "we say so" crap is created and challenge them on it. NOBODY will enforce your rights for you, so step up and do it yourself. Really, you're not there to be friends with the security staff, you're there to access public records lawfully on behalf of your paying client so that YOU CAN EAT tomorrow and the next day. Comprende?
