I worked for the company last year and got payed for every search, but I ALWAYS had to pester Ken for payment until I started making him pay for the search upfront (which he did). We ended up parting ways because he asked me for a quote on a full search and I told him I would let him know the following morning the cost and eta(He asked for this at 5:30 pm, by the way). Well, the next morning when I called back he had already given the search to a different abstractor. He didn't even bother to call me back and tell me to disregard the quote request. There were enough negative experiences in addition to the ones mentioned that it wasn't worth it for me to stick with the company.
