I've been doing this work for 38 years.  I have not seen an actual abstract continued for going on 30 years.  You may be surprised to learn that the change from abstracts to title insurance occurred at various times in locations outside your own.

William, no disrespect to Libitarians, but you are advocating circumventing the rules.  The statute is clear, you are suggesting going around it.  Not a Rosa Parks issue at all.
